Elena Ferrara is an exciting new British bridalwear designer whose new collections launched to coincide with the start of the new year.
With her love of clean, simple lines, she designs her dresses for the sophisticated modern bride: one who is bold, brave, and creative, who wishes to stand apart from the other brides. Elena’s collections cleverly blends the timeless classic tailoring with modern fabrics. By adding her own twist, she creates stylish silhouettes with delicately intricate details which simply exude sassiness.
The ethos behind the brand is to keep things simple and classic, whilst still being pretty, feminine, and elegant. always with a touch of glamour. As in the words of the inspirational Coco Chanel “A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous”.
With an obsession for beautiful fabrics, Elena loves to combine soft silks and delicate laces with new textures to create stunning dresses. She uses her skills to enrich the finest fabrics with hand beading and embroidery. As a perfectionist, with an eye for details, she delivers high quality and great craftsmanship. Her skills in the art of patterns, cutting and tailoring are obvious as her dresses cleverly balance the need for a perfect fit, with the beauty of corsetry and comfort. Every piece in the collection is proudly made in the beautiful English countryside, where they are handmade to fit each bride, making each dress is a dream to wear, ensuring our brides are confident and happy.

Coming from a sewing background; my great grandmother was an exceptional tailor who could fashion anything together without a pattern. My nonna was a highly imaginative dressmaker. My mum too is immensely creative, a genius with the knitting needles and crochet hook. So, it was inevitable that I too was going to be creative. Ever since I can remember I have made things and been skillful on the sewing machine. I honestly cannot remember not having a project on the go.
Educated throughout school in fashion and textiles, I ultimately graduated with a degree in fashion design and technology from the London College of fashion. Whilst working in various roles both in and out of the creative industry, including a period working in a Savile Row tailors, I continually made and sold products as a sideline to fulfil my need to be creative. I eventually found my love for bridal when I began designing and making pretty flower girl dresses, in 2010. These have been successful and hugely popular. But it wasn’t until I started a family that I knew that I really needed to chase my dreams. My dream to create my own bridal label. It’s taken a couple of years in the making but here we are...…
